I called them and explained the situation to them. We were told she would have to do research and take it to the Cherokee Council but someone WAS going to pay for it. After telling her the situation, we were talked to very hateful and disrespected. We were then switched to another VIP, Desiree, about the problem. We NEVER eat there because it’s to expensive for us, and don’t even like crab legs. Calling the hotel and talking to the VIP, Dorothy, found out it was for a dinner with crab legs and wine and a $30.00 tip at Seven Ponies. Once we left and came home, I found out I was charged $119.00 for something I did not charge. Both rooms were fantastic! The suite was really great! Lots of room and fantastic shower! We have been going here for 6 years and never had a problem before. We stayed 2 nights in a regular room and 2 nights in a suite. It's sad to think a person can be accused falsely at this property and then have to deal with a representative of this property who basically is no help at all.… I am very upset at the heavy handed way this has all gone down. I have seen more reviews where this has happened to other guests. If I had been informed before I left maybe I could have cleared this up. When we checked out the morning of May 12, I turned in the room key cards, the girl looked at computer and said everything was good. I'm pretty sure if security had been in our room at that time we would have woken up. At that time my husband and I were asleep in our room. I also discovered that the charges to my card came in at 4:04 AM. The best I can understand all he did was call Pocola and go by whatever they told him and considers that a good way to treat visitors to the hotel. Duh! I have been unable to contact anyone at Choctaw except for a Joel Herrington. He said they knew it was our room because they had a picture of our door. He wouldn't tell me what the item was they said they found. I was informed they wouldn't drop the charges and he refused to email me any of the documentation and pictures they supposedly had.

When I called Choctaw I was informed that there was a strong odor of marijuana in our room and some unnamed item was found and security was called. We got home and I checked my card's account. If you stay here check your credit card account! We stayed May 11, 2022.
